You can help by creating or participating in competitive scholarships. This helps in recruiting the top rodeo student athletes from our region and providing financial assistance to our current rodeo athletes. These funds help our students stay focused on academic and rodeo event success. All scholarships are structured through the University of Montana Foundation. Education changes lives and lives change the world.
You can help us sustain the Cowboy Ball and Spring Golf Tournament for the Rodeo Team by becoming a sponsor. The funds raised support 90% our operating budget and some scholarship. These events funds books and fees, team travel, coaching salaries, practice space, livestock costs and other expenses. Sponsorships begin at $1,000. It takes a community to preserve our western heritage.
You can help us by being a primary, event, chute gate, or buckle sponsor. There are lots of ways to put your money to work at the Spring Rodeo. Customized giving opportunities start at $250 increments. It takes hands and money for a nine event rodeo.
You can help by supporting the efforts and direction of our University of Montana Rodeo Board of Directors by an annual gift of $500 or $1000. These gifts are unrestricted and used for the operation and funding of the Rodeo team. It takes an Outlaw Club (those who refuse to be ridden or broke) to preserve college rodeo.
Your UofM Rodeo Team Board of Directors look forward to making your gift personal. Let’s talk about opportunities for creating a scholarship or putting your name/logo on our web site, programs, team trailer, team vests, rodeo flags, arena banners and chute gates. Please join this hard working volunteer Board of Directors and coaching staff in keeping University of Montana Rodeo vital.
